Alumni Admissions Volunteer Program
Alumni admissions volunteers assist the Undergraduate Admissions Office in recruiting qualified students for Penn State. It is the “personal touch” by alumni volunteers that often encourages students to apply to Penn State and accept an offer of admission. Our volunteers help us recruit by attending college fairs, receptions for students and parents in their local communities and by participating in ‘LionsRoar’ which is making phone calls or sending emails to students with offers of admission; congratulating them and offering ourselves as a resource for families.
