Community Service

Our Chapter is very active in our local communities. Below are a list of the upcoming Community Service events that we’re participating in:

Come Walk With Us

The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition/New Jersey Chapter is partnering with the Downtown West Orange Alliance. The NOCC will once again be a part of this momentous community run/walk event, which will be taking place on Sunday, Sept 22nd. The actual walk/run will take start at 10AM. This event will feature activities, a survivor tent, and raffles. Our Chapter will be participating in this event and has created a Penn State team for local alums/supporters to be part of. Light the Night 
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light The Night Walk helps support the research of blood cancer treatments that save lives. On Saturday, October 19th at Verona Park in Verona at 6:30PM, our Chapter will be joining forces with the Knights of Columbus Council 3533 and Seton Hall alumni to host a team in the walk. Verona Park is located at 121-133 Lakeside Drive, Verona, NJ.
