Coffee Hour Featuring Jay Paterno
Start off the month of December with a Coffee Hour, featuring Jay Paterno ’91. Jay is President of Blue Line 409 LLC, which helps companies facing communications challenges. Jay will join Alumni Association CEO Paul Clifford ’20g on Dec. 2 for a virtual coffee and conversation. Topics of discussion include Jay’s experiences in public speaking, social media and public relations, his 22 years as a college football coach, his role on the Penn State Board of Trustees, and more.
Jay Paterno is an author and consultant as well as serving on Penn State’s Board of Trustees. He also appears on television for the Blue White Tailgate Show and writes for StateCollege.com and his own Pigskin Stew Football Blog on JayVPaterno.com.
In 2020, he followed up his best-selling book “Paterno Legacy” with the novel “Hot Seat: A Year Inside College Football’s Pressure Cooker.” The novel was inspired by his 22 seasons coaching college football, including 17 years at Penn State.
As a public speaker, Jay’s 2012 Eulogy at the Memorial for Joe was named one of the most important speeches of the century by American Rhetoric.
